Publications

The Coasts and Estuaries Research Group publishes research on the drivers, processes geomorphology and evolution of coastal environments, spanning field studies, remote sensing, and modelling. We cover a range of coastal environments – from temperate sandy beaches to tropical coral reefs – and hydrodynamic processes from surf wave breaking to tsunami wave inundation. CERG members have authored chapters in high-profile international textbooks and publish their research in leading scientific journals. Selected journal papers and book chapters are listed below.
